5 Years Supporting the National Garden Scheme

We are pleased to have received a certificate from the National Garden Scheme for raising money for the last 5 years.

We open our Nursery to the public each year where visitors can come and see the National Collection of Agapanthus that we have, there are demonstrations, tours, plants for sale and delicious cream teas.  The money taken to enter is donated to the NGS.  This year we will be opening on the 29th & 30th July.

Around 3700 gardens open each year for he National Garden Scheme.  It is the most significant charitable funder of nursing charities in the country, donating over £50 million so far.  The beneficiary charities are:  The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Carers Trust, Hospice UK, Perennial Parkinson’s UK and other guest charities.
