New Rhododendrons

Wine and Roses & Graziella are 2 new ever green varieties that have been selected for their unusual foliage, which adds interest to the plant year round.

Wine and Roses was bred at Glendoick Garden in Scotland. This is a semi-dwarf, very compact-growing hybrid with glowing pink flowers in rounded trusses in mid-spring. The leaves are brightly reddish-purple beneath and the new growth is bronzy. A beautiful, very free-flowering and distinct foliage plant.

Graziella is a low growing sturdy and hardy evergreen shrub. This distinct variety  has very dark green narrow leaves with a burgundy tint. The flowers are deep purple in bud opening to bell-shaped flowers of lilac pink. They appear in late May to early June.  Though exotic looking it is hardy.1.2m in height
