Volunteering with us
We’d love you to join our friendly team of volunteers who bring Patrick’s Patch to life. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply enjoy being outdoors, there’s something incredibly rewarding about nurturing fruit and vegetables from plot to plate – especially when you know they’ll be used in the delicious seasonal dishes served in Steff’s Kitchen.
Volunteering here is more than just gardening – it’s about being part of something special. Our volunteers help with a wide range of activities: sowing seeds, harvesting produce, supporting school visits and group visits from people with additional needs, and lending a hand during seasonal events.
You’ll work alongside a passionate and welcoming team, learn new skills, and contribute to a thriving kitchen garden that inspires visitors of all ages. There’s a real sense of community in Patrick’s Patch – and a good deal of laughter, too.
If you have skills or interests you think could benefit the Patch – from storytelling to carpentry, floristry to photography – we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Whether you can give a few hours a week or just help from time to time, every contribution makes a difference. Come and grow with us.
