Uniform, training and staff discounts are provided.  If you work in Steff's Kitchen, meals are provided.  For all positions you must be 16+ unless stated otherwise.

Steff's Kitchen

2nd Chef

We are looking for a strong person who is passionate about quality homemade food, who can support our Head Chef and run the kitchen in their absence.

We need an experienced chef for our very busy 120 seater café restaurant which is open 9am to 5pm, 7 days per week.

We are a well-established destination in Beaulieu in the New Forest and have our own productive garden from where the kitchen receives vegetables and fruit.

We’d love to talk to you if-

You have at least 2 years’ experience as a call order chef with some responsibility for managing other chefs.

Can show that you have contributed to menu ideas and managed a safe food handling system.

You can communicate clearly with your team.

Chef de Partie

We have wonderful opportunity for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our team in Steff’s Kitchen. You will need experience of working in a similar fast paced establishment together with a passion for food and delivering great meals for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include: • Work unassisted in the main kitchen keeping it organised and well prepared at all times • Support other chefs through clear communication • Produce dishes as per the Head Chef’s instructions, maintaining consistency and high quality • Help with the day-to-day cleaning and organisation of the kitchen, dry stores, veg stores and fridges • take a proactive role in the team, identifying and resolving issues as well as sharing ideas for improvement • Representing Steff’s Kitchen and maintaining a positive brand image

Our ideal candidate will: • Be a brilliant communicator • Have previous experience in a similar role • Possess the ability to work under pressure • Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability • High standards of personal hygiene and food hygiene • A collaborative approach to teamwork

Front of House Supervisor

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic full time Front of House Supervisor.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is high-energy, passionate about providing good customer service, relishes working in a fast paced, busy environment and enjoys motivating and leading a team from the front.

Front of House Servers

We have superb opportunity for part time Front of House servers to join the Steff’s Kitchen. You will need experience of working in a food & beverage outlet together with a passion for customer service excellence. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a flair for hospitality is essential.

Are you a parent with children at school - this could be just for you!  Work during school hours, some weekend work (but not every weekend) with flexibility during school holidays.

Kitchen Porter/Assistant

We are looking for a part time enthusiastic Kitchen Porter in our cafe to help with the smooth running of our kitchen.

As a Kitchen Porter with us, your contribution is essential to the success of the kitchen. You will be in charge of keeping the kitchen spotless and making sure that our chefs have everything they need.

Experience isn’t necessary but as long as you have a sense of humour and a willingness to work hard, we will teach you the rest… To us, what makes you special is your attitude! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast paced, fresh food kitchen.

Help us create the perfect blend! We’re currently recruiting driven Baristas to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Steff’s Kitchen on a part time basis. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver a first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.

We have a rare opportunity for 2 weekend Shop Assistants to come and be part of the team in our Garden Centre. You will need to be customer focused and have a genuine enthusiasm for people and be willing to help and not be afraid to get stuck in.

Your key responsibilities will include: • Serving customers & operating tills • Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards) • Always delivering exceptional customer service and going the ‘extra mile’ when required • Pricing and displaying goods for sale • Recommending and promoting products • Keeping up to date with promotions • Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator • To help customers take shopping and compost to their cars • Representing Fairweather’s Garden Centre maintaining a positive brand image
