Patrick's Patch

Tucked just across the road from Fairweather’s Garden Centre in the beautiful village of Beaulieu, Patrick’s Patch is our thriving fruit and vegetable garden – a place to discover, learn and enjoy the beauty and bounty of nature.

This productive garden changes with the seasons, offering a colourful display of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers grown using wildlife-friendly and sustainable practices. From traditional kitchen garden favourites to more unusual crops, there is always something new to see growing throughout the year.

Patrick’s Patch is designed to inspire gardeners of all ages. Whether you are an experienced grower looking for new ideas or simply enjoy wandering through a productive garden, the beds and growing spaces offer plenty of inspiration for your own garden at home.

From Garden to Plate

Much of what is grown in Patrick’s Patch makes its way straight into the kitchen at Steff’s Kitchen, creating a true garden-to-plate experience. Seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs are harvested at their best and used in dishes that celebrate fresh, local produce.

This close connection between garden and café means many dishes reflect what is growing just across the road, bringing the flavours of the garden directly to your table.

A Garden Through the Seasons

Each season brings something different to Patrick’s Patch. Spring sees young seedlings and fresh growth emerging from the beds. Summer fills the garden with vibrant vegetables, herbs and soft fruit, while autumn and winter crops continue to provide colour, interest and produce long after many gardens have slowed down.

Whether you visit to gather ideas, learn more about growing your own food or simply enjoy a stroll among the beds, Patrick’s Patch offers a welcoming space to connect with nature and discover the pleasures of productive gardening.
