Open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch and tea. We now have waitress service and a fresh new menu.
Breakfast 9 to 11.30am
Lunch until 4pm (Main Meals served only between 12 & 3pm)
We also have a new shop opposite - ”Steff’s to go”, which sells drinks, sandwiches, toasties, cakes, cream teas and so much more for you to enjoy all day - especially when the cafe is serving main meals only during 12 and 3pm.
There are limited seats inside, but we have an extensive front terrace and new tables in our beautiful learning garden next door in Patrick’s Patch. You can enjoy your lighter things to eat here or take them away with you.
Enjoy a traditional roast with lots of vegetables and all the trimmings or choose from our Fish of the Day or a Fully Loaded Burger. Throughout December we will always offer Roast Beef on a Sunday.
We are pleased to offer you a special Christmas Lunch menu from Monday 30th November to Wednesday 23rd December. This will replace our existing lunchtime menu.
Accessing Steff's Kitchen
Please enter via the garden centre entrance. Follow the signs to the covered waiting area where you will be greeted and seated by our host. Outside tables are available and we ask that you don't hold them but instead wait to be shown to a table. When you leave, go back through the garden centre.
We have spent a lot of time preparing Steff's Kitchen to open and we have followed HM Government guidelines to make sure everyone is safe. We have removed tables allowing correct distancing, waitress service to minimise contact with others and our kitchen has been re-designed to only allow 2 chefs, a baker and pot washer in. Cleanliness is paramount, our staff will be washing their hands very frequently and using hand sanitiser and we ask that you do to. Your table will be sanitised before and after use.
We do, by law, have to collect minimal contact information from you when using Steff's Kitchen, for Track and Trace. Your details will be kept for 21 days and all information will be handled as per the Data Protection Act 2018.
We make take a little longer to serve you due to the change in procedures and we ask that you are patient and polite, it is as new to us as it is to you.
We strive to use local ingredients wherever possible, with local free range eggs, sausages and ham amongst the favourites. Our vegetables are largely sourced from within the New Forest area and often taken direct from Patrick’s Patch located opposite. In the summer our garden-fresh salads are made from leaves and vegetables picked the same morning.
